The Sanofi Espoir Foundation launched the My Child Matters Awards 2015, in order to reward projects led by nurses which aim to help fight against childhood cancer in developing countries.
Projects have to contribute improving the care of children with cancer, particularly in resource-limited settings, and belong to one of the following category: education, professional practices, or research.
The jury, which consists of experts in the field of pediatric oncology from SIOP Nurses’ Group Steering Committee, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Sanofi Espoir Foundation, will select up to ten projects, and each laureate will receive a financial support of 5, 000 euros to develop its initiative. Furthermore, selected projects will be visible on Care Challenge, Sanofi Espoir and SIP websites for two years.
