Sanofi employees participate in Solidarity Christmas events at the Foundation’s partner associations

As part of the Season of Solidarity organized annually on Sanofi sites, the Sanofi Espoir Foundation offered employees based in the Paris area three volunteer activities with two of the Foundation’s partner associations.

Christmas with beneficiaries at the Saint Denis “Women's House”

A dozen employees gathered on Saturday, December 16 to organize the Women’s House Christmas in Saint Denis. A festive and convivial event which brought together forty women and children.

During the afternoon, employees distributed toys collected from Sanofi employees on several sites, organized fun activities for the children, and shared a musical snack. All participants - moms, children and employees – had a most enjoyable time together.

Super Christmas at Emmaus Défi in Paris

Twenty or so employees helped swell the ranks of the Emmaus Défi teams during their Super Christmas held over two days in Paris in mid-December. These volunteers helped receive more than 150 vulnerable families, and allowing them to choose new or second-hand toys in a cozy atmosphere around a breakfast prepared by the Sanofi employees. Volunteers also helped the sales teams alongside people seeking jobs. A powerful, rewarding experience.

Emmaüs Défi is an association that has been supported by the Sanofi Espoir Foundation since June 2016 to improve access to health for recipients in an employability project. Launched in March 2007, it focuses on work by proposing an activity to suit each individual and activate an employment mindset. It targets people suffering from extreme exclusion experiencing problems linked to employment, health, and housing as well as administrative procedures and life skills.
